Lady Gaga

Video Premiere

from

The Lost Valentine

Ok so I came across this movie the other day, it looked like a good chick flick, so I went about my ways & got a copy of it. Finally got around to watching it last night ... AND I LOVED IT!!
It wasn't an outstanding acting ability or set designs, etc, etc, & everything else, it was more or less the actual story they told that did it for me.

It really is a love story, through and through. And if you are a hopeless romantic - this is definately a MUST WATCH movie!

The movie is based on a novel with a simlar title, "The Last Valentine". The novel was written by James Michael Pratt.

The movie was Released as a CBS Hallmark Hall of Fame. Since us here in Canada do no have access to The Hallmark Channel.

A quick run down of the movie: A reporter hears of a woman who goes to the train station every Valentine's Day to wait for her husband to return from war. The reporter decides to do a story about the woman's story of her husband who went M.I.A during World War 2. And in return helps the senior find her love.

And starring in this movie and a few pretty well known actresses & actors. THE Betty White plays Caroline Thomas - the elderly lady telling her story. We also have her starring along side Jennifer Love Hewitt, who protrays, Susan Allison, known as the reporter trying to capture the love story. And playing the leading male star role is Mr. Sean Faris! Who plays charachter Lucas Thomas, the grandson of Caroline Thomas.
Billy Magnussen portrayed young Neil Thomas aka Caroline's Husband. We see him acting in the flashbacks as Caroline tells her story. And along side Magnussen is Meghann Fahy who plays the young Caroline, also seen acting in the flashbacks.

You will NOT be disappointed in this movie! It was definitely a tear jerker of a movie as well! Well written and carried over gracefully onto the big screen!

Darnell Martin directed the film which Ernest Thompson, Jenny Wingfield, & JAmes Michael Pratt wrote.

Just a fun little fact - The movie which aired January 30, 2011 gathered 14.3 MILLION viewers, making it the MOST WATCHED Hallmark movie in four years!

Here is a Promo that CBS aired for The Lost Valentine.

Celebrities of every genre came out to the Staples Center in L.A this weekend to take part in the NBA All Star weekend.

Some celebs that were spotted were, Ty Burrell (of Modern Family) with his wife, Holly, Oscar performer, Zachary Levi, hottie family man Mark Wahlberg was enjoying the game with his sons, Michael & Brendan, Chrissy Teigen and her beau, singer, John Legend, were in the stands as well. Cee-Lo Green sat in the stands, along with Jay Z and wifey Beyonce, and Justin Bieber. Rihanna, Drake, and Jayne West took stage during the halftime for entertainment. Also spotted where Twilight cast member Kellan Lutz, as well as Glee's Jenna Ushkowitz.

House Of Night

Currently, on my bedside table, I am into the House Of Night Series. I'm on book number four, aka, Untamed.

The House of Night novels is a series of books based on vampires! Yes vampires! This set of books is written by a mother & daughter duo, P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast.

There are seven books in total I believe to the series. I only own 6 of them. The 7th book came out a few months ago. I'm only half way through the series anway.

While I do enjoy the series ( so far ), I did need to take a break in between the novels! I read the first two books & then went on to a different (romance) novel altogether. Came back books later read the 3rd. And then did the same. Delved into a different genre & then came back.

Which is were I am now. House Of Night, Book 4, UNTAMED.
Just thought I'd share what's on my bookshelf!

Lindsay & A Movie Deal?

Turns out that Miss Lohan is up for a movie contract. It would be her fist sign on deal since coming out of Rehab.

The producer of the movie, Nathan Folks says they will not be signing anything until it's for sure that Lindsay Lohan won't be going to jail over the whole " alleged stolen " necklace fiasco!

Here is a quick overview of the plot of the movie which is said to be titled "Escaping The Game" and a quick review of the character Lohan would be portraying.

The movie is about famous celebs who get in over their heads & can't take the fame. Many will stage their own deaths & create new lifes for themselves on a remote island. This is where Lindsay comes into play. She will be protrayin the investigator who will try & uncover the story of their disappearances.

The movie is rumored to also star Chris Zylka.

More Lee Brice

Here is a few other of my favorites from The Track Shack Studios, where Lee Brice played a amazing set of songs.

The first track is titled " That Way Again " . This was the first time he played this song. Enjoy!

The track is titled " Try "
*he forgets some of the lyrics during the song - but it still is a great song. he truly is a talented artist.

Lee Brice

I heart Lee Brice - just sayin'!

check out his video from The Track Shack Studios of Mr.Brice singing These Last Few Days.

The First Day!

So today, is Sara - my daughter's frist day of Pre-K school.

We have been going to these sessions since September in preperation of kindergarten for the Fall of 2011.

Today was her first day where I actually left her there!
In the past sessions we have been going after supper and doing different activities.

But today was her first day where she actually got to go to class with the current kindergarten class.

She has been so excited since I reminded her a few days ago that she would be going. She picked out her own clothes this morning, ate her breakfast with no help ( usually I'm at her to eat & stop playing but not this time!). She even requested that I curl her hair for the big day. She wanted to look "cute". That was her word by the way not mine. She always looks cute!

She had absolutely no problem staying there. As I knew she wouldn't. She is a very independant girl! Now picking her up might be another story. I have a feeling she is not going to want to leave! She's only there for a few hours little does she know!

When I walked her to her classroom - the kindergarten teacher - Mrs.L took her by the hand & told her to " say bye to mom " she came instead came over hugged both of her brothers & then kisses & hugged me & said

" I'm a big girl now. Don't worry mom, I'll be home soon. " and flashed that innocent, sweet smile of hers and walked away.

She definately is growing up - way to fast.

It's different without her here. Sounds stupid, I know. But it's how it is. And surprisingly its kind of quieter here too! I'm amazed at the sound difference with just one child gone!

Well I'm off to finish up my housework. I should make use of this time & try & get some things done. Tune in later - I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories & things to share about her first day. Lord knows Sara's is gonna tell me every second of here 2 in a half hours there. Which I don't mind either! Expect that it's a constant reminder that she's no longer my little baby. But she will always be my baby girl <3 .

xoxo jess
ps.

This is my wonderfully, smart, funny, beautiful, sweet daughter Sara!

This pic displays her personiality to a tee! Such a joker!

This day I took this pic, we were having a little "photoshoot" of our own using the webcam on the laptop. She just loved to make silly faces at - well - herself!

Thought I would post a pick so you could see who this sweet baby girl was that I have been going on and on about!

Movie Review!

Life As We Know It! Starring Katherine Heigl & Josh Duhameh.
Two Thumbs Up!
I acutally enjoyed this movie. It had comedy at all the right places.
To sum it up quickly - the plot is about a couple who pass away & leave their daughter to BOTH the god parents - who by the way, are not together & hate each other! I don't want to give to much away, cause I believe it's worth seeing. It's a great flick. I can relate to a lot of the parenting woo's! in the film! Definately should check it out ladies! & Guys it is a chick flick but I think it's one that won't be that brutal for you to sit through.

The Beginning

A Fresh Beginning.
I used to blog.. Ages ago. When my kids were younger. ... Wait. Maybe I should start off by telling you a bit about myself!

I'm a 23 year old mommy! I have 3 kids.
Sara is 4, going on 5 in september. Which means she starting kindergarten this fall.. - Scary! (side note - they grow up quick!)
I also have twins. No need to reread. I did say TWINS! Twin boys at that. Their names are Zachary & Wyatt. And they act & appear anything but! They are two completely different humans! Their 3 by the way. They'll be 4 this summer in July!
There is exactly 10 Months & 1 Day between Sara & The Boys! Crazy I Know. I'm their Mom remember!
Anyway. Thankfully, I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my children. I haven't worked (outside the home) since about 3 weeks before Sara was born. Not long after Sara was born, I became pregnant with the twins. So I never went back to work.
My kids father & I have been together for 6 years now. We just had our 6 year anniversay back in Januray (2011). He's been the main financial provider so I have been able to stay at home with our children & raise them. I could not imagine going back to work & having to send them to daycare or a babysitter & missing all their "firsts". Which I'm sure all you other mothers can agree.
Anyway, back to where I was before the quick bio! When they were younger, and actually took naps periodically throughout the day, I blogged! It was a good stress reliever! And I blogged about pretty much EVERYTHING. Really!
I blogged about local news stories going on as well as national news stories. I blogged about new products coming out, and I blogged about new things I had tried. I blogged about advice, whether I needed it or I was giving it. And I blogged about celebrities! Etc, etc, etc, etc, .... . You get the picture.
Basically, if it interested me, I blogged about it! It's a good way to rant & rave & vent about everyday things that I wanted to share or things that bothered me!
Anyway now you get the just of it, so hopefully you'll follow. I may not get to it everyday, but I will definaltely try. I do have 3 growing children as well as a household to take care of.
Anyway on with the beginning!
Hope you enjoy!
